Help for your Aggressive Dog.
Understanding the origins and causes of dog aggression can be puzzling. But, for the owner
who witnesses their beloved canine family member act aggressively, it can be scary and very
worrisome.
4 Paws Down can assess dogs who display aggressive behaviors and help shed light on the
reason for this behavior. By providing the owner with a better understanding of the causes and
triggers for the behavior and providing a method for managing the aggression, we find that most
owners can go on to live a happy, more fulfilling life with their dog. Unfortunately, as difficult as it
may be, we may find that the current family is not the most appropriate one for a dog with
aggressive tendencies. In these instances, we will work with the family to recommend
alternative solutions.
We'll schedule an initial consultation where we'll evaluate the dog and conduct an in-depth
interview with family members. Based on our initial observations of the dog and conversations
with the owner, we'll recommend a program that we believe will be best suited to the owner's
and dog's needs.
